Mirror Films specializes in the production and distribution of narrative feature films for theatrical, TV and DVD release. Its unique production model makes it possible to create high quality movies for modest budgets.
Founded in 2003, Mirror Films has produced several motion pictures, including the theatrical releases Baptists at Our Barbecue (2004), The Errand of Angels (2008), One Good Man (2009) and Plates of Gold (2011). In 2012, Mirror Films released two new films, The Letter Writer and Silent Night. Several other projects are currently being developed.
Christian Vuissa, founder and president of Mirror Films, is a native of Austria. He graduated magna cum laude from BYU's Media Arts program in 2002 and received an MPA in 2008 from BYU's Marriott School of Business. He is also the founder and president of the LDS Film Festival.
Vuissa was named "one of America's most promising independent filmmakers" (The Independent Critic).
It is the goal of Mirror Films to form "images by the reflection of rays of light" that give "a true representation" or "a true image, hence, a pattern; an exemplar" of the human experience.
